ETA – NEUE EINREISEBESTIMMUNG FÜR KANAD

Seit dem 15.03.2016 wird für die Einreise/Transitreise in/durch Kanada eine Einreisebewilligung verlangt

Gilt nicht für Reisende mit gültigem Visum.

Effective March 15, 2016, passengers who are visa-exempt for travel to Canada will be required to obtain an electronic Travel Authorization ( eTA) prior to their departure to Canada. Visa-exempt passengers transiting via Canada are also required to obtain an eTA prior to their departure. Exemptions include U.S. nationals and individuals who are in possession of a valid Canadian visa. In preparation for this upcoming requirement, the eTA website is currently active allowing those wishing to obtain their eTA to do so now.

The eTA costs $7 CAD and is valid for 5 years or the length of the validity of the traveler`s passport.
